JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng Premier David Makhura says interventions implemented in the fight against COVID-19 in the province are working.
Makhura was giving an update on the status of the fight against the spread of the coronavirus in the province.
The province has over 7,000 COVID-19 infections with 57 deaths.
Gauteng’s recoveries stand at 2,825.

He says there are still concerns about the increase of confirmed cases in the Johannesburg CBD.
“In the CBD of Johannesburg, we have the largest number of cases,” said Makhura.
